Mabel Mix is a multimedia artist and filmmaker from Grand Rapids, Michigan, working across experimental film, painting, puppetry, sculpture, theatrical design, digital media, and installation. Rooted in storytelling, her interdisciplinary practice explores memory, place, identity, and belief through the interplay of physical and digital forms.
Mix earned a B.A. in Fine Arts and Theatre with a concentration in Film and Media from Kalamazoo College, graduating with honors. She has studied in Scotland and at the New York Arts Program, and her work has been exhibited and screened in gallery and film-festival settings, including AmAuteur and Lift-Off Film Festival.
She is currently pursuing Experimental Film at the University of Glasgow and is available for commissions and collaborative projects.
